Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank Limited was incorporated at Nepalgunj in 2051B.S. (Chaitra 28) under Bank & Financial Institution Act as a regional level grameen bikash bank. It was inaugurated by the Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari. The registered office of the Bank is located at Charbhainy-8, Nepalgunj Municipality, Banke District.
The working areas of the bank are mid-western development region including 15 districts and three zones. The bank provides financial supports and training programs to rural population who come under poor and deprived sector. It encourages community based works and provide loan without collateral to women for small industries to overcome poverty.

The has an authorized capital of NRs.120,000,000/- divided into 1,200,000 equity shares of NRs.100 each. It has a pai-up capital of Rs. 60,000,000/- which has been fully subscribed by the promoter of the bank.
