Nepal is a developing country in South Asia boardered between China and India. The country has immense potentiality for development. There are cheap labor force and resources which attracts investment. To obtain higher economic growth and development, Nepal needs to increase capital investment. Since Nepal has adopted liberal, outward looking, open market economic policy. The role of private sectors has increased significantly. A large amount of private investment is required for the development of infrastructures, industries, trade, etc. Realizing this fact, to mobilize private capital into productive and profitable projects, a group of Nepalese investors have established Peoples' Investment Company Limited under Company Act 2063. The company shall raise capital from investors and utilize it for various profitable projects in Nepal.
